A discreet heater that lives above doors and aims to reduce heat loss from ‘open door’ commercial premises such as shops, cafes and entrance areas. Commercial air curtains have a higher air velocity than our overdoor heaters and create a more efficient air screen.

Can one installer install this heater easily?
-
The mounting bracket on this heater was designed specifically for easy install by one person. You firstly wall mount the fixing bracket to the wall then you attached the two small side brackets and plastic domes to the heater. Once this is done, you simply slot the heater and side brackets into the wall mounted fixing bracket and secure.

How do I buy BN Thermic heaters?

We sell exclusively through electrical wholesalers. If you have used a wholesaler in the past, please forward them our part codes and they will provide you with a final price.

How do I select the correct heater for my project?

We offer a free design service for any size project. To quote, all we require is the length and width of your door and we can specify the correct heater for your project. When will I receive my heater?

How do I keep running costs and energy consumption to a minimum?

Installing a CS-7 control switch is the best way to keep running costs and energy consumption to a minimum. The CS-7 switch gives you on/off/high/low and fan only settings.
In warmer months, the CS-7’s low setting down rates a heater’s output which instantly reduces energy consumption.
For example, if a shop owner switches a 6kW CAD-60 overdoor heater to its low setting, they instantly down rate the unit to 4kW. If the shop is open for 10 hours a day, the owner reduces their energy consumption by 20kW a day! (This is ideal for warmer times of the year like spring and autumn)
