How do I mount an OUH3 industrial fan heater?
-
You have two options, either wall mount using the sturdy 360° bracket or suspended using chains and the OUH3-HK hanging hooks. (the OUH3-40 cannot be wall mounted)
-
Can multiple heaters be controlled via 1 thermostat?
-
They can indeed. Each OUH3 fan heater has a built-in contactor meaning multiple heaters can be daisy chained from any thermostat.
-
Can I switch my OUH industrial fan heater on/off with a rotary isolator?
-
It is very important you do not do this. The elements in an OUH heater get very hot but the fan behind them cools them down. When switching the heater off with a BN Thermic controller, the controller will allow the fan overrun to kick in which keeps the fan spinning which cools the elements down.
If you switch the heater off at the isolator, you shut the power off to the heater and fan meaning the fan overrun will not kick in. The elements will then overheat and cause major damage to the internals of your heater. -
How do I buy BN Thermic heaters?
-
We sell exclusively through electrical wholesalers. If you have used a wholesaler in the past, please forward them our part codes and they will provide you with a final price.
If you have not used a wholesaler before, electrical wholesalers are distributers of electrical goods that are dotted around the UK on high streets and industrial estates. If you need assistance locating your nearest wholesaler, please send us your postcode we will locate, contact and prep your nearest wholesaler with all the details of your project. When will I receive my heater?
-

-
How do I keep running costs and energy consumption to a minimum?
-
Installing a 7-day programmable thermostat is the best way to keep your running costs and energy consumption to a minimum. A 7-day programmable thermostat can prevent your heating system from being left on when your premises is unoccupied and it turns your heaters off once your premises reaches a desired temperature.
Click the ‘controls’ drop down menu to browse recommended thermostats for this heater and please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance selecting the correct thermostat – 01293 547 361.
