A shortwave radiant heater which heats people directly not the surrounding air. As they are instantly effective, these heaters are ideal for spot heating areas within larger industrial premises and also heating intermittently used buildings like churches, village halls and schools.

Do you control quartz heaters on thermostats?

Quartz heaters heat people directly and are not designed to build and maintain a warm body of air like a fan heater/radiator/convector heater etc. So therefore you do not control them thermostatically.

What’s the expected life of a lamp in a quartz halogen heater?

Each lamp in or heaters has an average lamp life of 7000 hours. Spare lamps can also be purchased via your electrical wholesaler.

What is a magic lamp?

Traditional quartz halogen lamps give off instant ‘punchy’ heat and a beam of light (red or yellow depending on the lamp style). Our unique magic lamps give off the same heat intensity as a standard lamp but with zero glare of light output.

When will I receive my heater?

All orders placed with a wholesaler by 3pm are shipped next day. (Uk mainland addresses)

How do I keep running costs and energy consumption to a minimum?

Installing a push button timer is the best way to keep running costs and energy consumption to a minimum. Push button timers energise heaters for a pre-determined amount of time and then switch the heaters off. This avoids the heaters being energised for long periods of time when the area around them is unoccupied.
