Radiant cassettes give off a radiant effect which will naturally localise heat. In some commercial environments they can be used to add some localised heat (above a desk) but should not be used in industrial applications (above a workstation in a warehouse).
Ideally, radiant cassettes should be used to space heat commercial premises like offices and should be controlled via a thermostat.

Yes, you can surface mount radiant cassettes using the brackets provided. You can also suspend them or wall mount them by purchasing an ESP2-B wall bracket.
