If you are unsure which mat you require for your project then please take advantage of our free design service. To accurately quote your project, we will require the following:
- Room dimensions
- Final floor type (tiles, laminate, stone etc)
- Preferred controller (digital, touch screen, Wi-Fi enabled)
- Insulation boards required (help the economy of the system)
- Any fixed objects in the room (shower trays, wardrobes etc)

What floor type is this mat compatible with?

Our F series foil underfloor heating mat is compatible with laminate and engineered wood floors.

Do foil mats require adhesives or compounds to install?

Foil underfloor heating mats are a dry install and do not require adhesives or compounds. You simply lay I-board insulation boards first, then lay the mat and then click the floor over the top.

Can I cut the mat down to size?

No, it is very important you do not cut the mat. If the mat accidently gets damaged, please purchase our EHM-R-KIT repair kit.

How do I buy BN Thermic underfloor heating mats?

We sell exclusively through electrical wholesalers. If you have used a wholesaler in the past, please forward them our part codes and they will provide you with a final price.

How do I select the correct mat for my project?

We offer a free heating design service for any size underfloor heating project. Either send us a drawing of your project or send us your final floor type along with your room dimensions (minus any fixed objects – shower trays, fixed wardrobes etc).

When will I receive my products?

All orders placed with a wholesaler by 3pm are shipped next day. (Uk mainland addresses)

How do I keep running costs and energy consumption to a minimum?

Insulation boards are mandatory for this system to operate which instantly makes the system efficient. Insulation boards greatly increases the economy of the system as they force heat from the mat upwards into your room.
