If you are unsure which size cable you require for your project then please take advantage of our free design service. To accurately quote your project, we will require the following:
- Room dimensions
- Final floor type (tiles, laminate, stone etc)
- Preferred controller (digital, touch screen, Wi-Fi enabled)
- Insulation boards required (help the economy of the system)
- Any fixed objects in the room (shower trays, wardrobes etc)

What floor type is this cable compatible with?

Our EHC heating cables are compatible with all floor types and all room types including wet rooms. You simply lay the cable in a bed of latex based self-levelling compound or tile adhesive and lay your floor over the top.

Can I cut the cable down to size?

No, it is very important you do not cut the cable. If the mat accidently gets damaged, please purchase our EHM-R-KIT repair kit.

How do I buy BN Thermic heating cables?

We sell exclusively through electrical wholesalers. If you have used a wholesaler in the past, please forward them our part codes and they will provide you with a final price.

How do I select the correct cable for my project?

We offer a free heating design service for any size underfloor heating project. Either send us a drawing of your project or send us your final floor type along with your room dimensions (minus any fixed objects – shower trays, fixed wardrobes etc).

When will I receive my products?

All orders placed with a wholesaler by 3pm are shipped next day. (Uk mainland addresses)

How do I keep running costs and energy consumption to a minimum?

Installing insulation boards under your underfloor heating cable greatly increases the economy of the system as it forces the heat from the cable upwards into your room. This is highly recommended when cables are being installed directly onto a cold concrete screed.
